Hi
> Yes it's true Interchange is coming out of the closet for good. With all the excitement of Interchange 6 in the air we as a group have tried to reflect on what can be done better. More or less trying to not continue with bad habits and learning from our past mistakes. A very good point was brought up by both Jon Jensen and Racke which was we need to stop hiding in the closet. We want to make sure that the entire community is involved with Interchange 6. To better do this we are going to be holding our development meetings in IRC on the freenode channel #interchange. This way everyone can see what is going on and even join the band of brothers. The 1st public development meeting will take place Monday October 28th at 9:30AM EST. The meeting will highlight an update to the current IC6 roadmap and we will be discussing tasking of major projects such as table editor. We hope to get a nice turnout so dust off that old IRC client and stop in!

Great news! That makes 3:30PM here, AFAICS, so it's even possible to join.

I didn't even know there was a table editor (or a soonish deadline) in
the roadmap. In fact, this is what I know about the roadmap:
http://www.icdevgroup.org/i/dev/roadmap

My input would (as always) be to try to make everything as modular and
independent as possible. Dancer, for example, may be the best platform
right now, but that may change in the future.
