[ic] Need to update my old server

old:	debian 6, interchange 5.6, perl 5.10
my intention
new:	debian 9, interchange 5.10, perl 5.24

I think to install ic from tarball but, before start, any suggestions or 
improvements about my intention ?

This server will run out of production until december.
Tests needed on dev release 5.11 ?
