[mv] MV 4.04 and va= on scan

Quick question about MV encoding the equal sign from the va= parameter in my
scan.  What am I doing wrong here and how can I get it to stop?

/scan/se=Plaques/cs=yes/em=yes/tf=code/fi=categories
/sf=category/va=leftside_category%3dPlaques?id=EbZV2ggJ&mv_pc=474

See the /va=leftside_category and then rather than an equal size, it is the
encoded version.
