Thanks, but they didn't help either.  The one is a readme file I think that's included with
the release and the other hardly mentions makecat (just the path to a makecat.cfg file that
existed for version 3 i guess but not for version 4).   I guess I might have to try the
"regular" installation without the rpm if I can't get it makecat working, but I don't know why
because I got the RPM from minivend's site so it should work.
