G'Day Ed,

This has helped for me...

Have the catalog griectory owned by the user, with your MiniVend/IC user as a 
memebr of their group. Make sure group has full write access everywhere in teh 
catalog directory.

Then using the VLINK CGI program, make sure it is owned and grouped to the 
MiniVend user and also do a u+s to it.

That should help you out.
