[ic] Still Clueless

I'd be curious to know what the directory is at ./../..
Do a pwd then an ls -ld ./../.. and see what directory
configure is trying to open...  Maybe that'll give someone
a clue as to what the problem is.  I'll also say that
not having root permission is going to give you headaches.
