[ic] vertical dealer category

Hello list,

I've searched the mail list for answer but I couldn't find a thread for
my question.

Here is what I'm trying to accomplish.

I want to have a vertical category below the "all" categroy list  that
would be for logged in dealers. 
here if the user is a dealer then a select area and cat for dealers
would appear. I have cloned the vertical_category and edited the sel
column to look for dealer attributes within area/cat table


sf=sel
op=eq
se=[control set_selector dealer]

but what If statement am I going to need to have the logged in dealer's
value envoke the dealer category

Hope this logic doesn't confuse anyone
