Yes, and it should be used outside the list. If inside the list, you can set a:

 [if scratch stop][tmpn stop]1[/tmpn][/if] within that,

or inside the list:

[if explicit]
$num = '[sql-increment]';
return 1 if $num == 1;
return 0;

	Special first-page-only stuff here
