I stand corrected.  I was simply trying to apply what I'd done already 
with code to what he wanted with prod_group.

In looking at the AutoModifier documentation wouldn't he simply want to 
use "AutoModifier prod_group", though?

And the AutoModifier syntax you show (pricing:price_group) appears to be 
undocumented.  Does that allow you to bring in fields from other tables? 
  If so, how are the tables keyed to use the correct record?
