The string in apache access_log is the same:
h-68-167-55-122-static.mclnva23.covad.net

I checked my robots.cfg file, but don't really see any matches, here are
several other in the catalog error.log

pool-70-19-47-86.ny325.east.verizon.net nsession:verizon.net
cache-mtc-ad16.proxy.aol.com nsession:aol.com
c-24-129-43-142.hsd1.fl.comcast.net nsession:comcast.net

just wasn't sure if something new going on in the wild.....

my robots.cfg is dated 2007....
