Interchange Community,
I came up with an idea for creating an interchange demo testing environment using camps (devcamps.org) wanted to see if people felt it would be useful. The problem I see is it is generally complicated to test multiple versions of Interchange with multiple versions of Perl. This problem was brought to light again yesterday as a community member posted what appears to be an issue with Safe in the 5.8 branch. Also with Josh's new strap template we have multiple demos that need monitoring. I have been working on utilizing Carton and Perlbrew most recently Plenv after introduction from Richard Templet. These scripts along with camps could create a really interesting testing application. Without getting into a long drawn out email here is how it would work.

To visually test a demo of interchange you would first select a perl version followed by an interchange version i.e. testing.com/perl-5.14.3/ic-5.7.6/. Nginx using fastcgi would manage the routes under the hood. On the server side plenv and carton would manage perl and the module dependencies.

Most of this I already have working besides the carton management script which I planned to build anyways for IC6 testing. This would take a bit of time to get going and I am getting pretty swamped but if this interests enough people I can start playing with it.

Input/chastising appreciated.
