[mv] product SQL table AND product.txt ?

Hello,
I choose to use minivend with a SQL database (PostgreSQL).
Why does minivend need the text version of the base (product.txt...)
If I suppress product.txt, it does'nt work anymore.
But the SQL product table contains all the products !
Did I forget something ?
