One's you prepared your products with prod_group and category, try to go to
-> "Miscellaneus"
-> "Layout Editor Auto Populate"
-> set n°8:Decide whether to remove previous settings: on YES
click on Populate

It rebuild your cat and area table.
Category vertical read from this two tables.....
